# Capture PaymentIntent

> Capture funds from a manually authorized Stripe PaymentIntent.

Use `stripe.capturePaymentIntent` to capture funds from a manually authorized Stripe PaymentIntent.

## Example

import { stripe } from "automate.ax/stripe"

export default automation("Capture PaymentIntent", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Capture PaymentIntent" })

  stripe.capturePaymentIntent({
    paymentIntentId: "pi_123",
    amountToCapture: 2000,
  })
})
```

## Inputs

`paymentIntentId` is required and must be awaiting capture. Omit `amountToCapture` to capture the amount available to capture. `idempotencyKey` is optional.

Inputs use camel case and accept compatible signals. Automate.ax converts provider fields to Stripe's wire format. Metadata keys remain unchanged.

## Output

Returns the captured Stripe PaymentIntent. Output fields use camel case.
