# Create Payment Link

> Create a reusable Stripe-hosted payment URL.

Use `stripe.createPaymentLink` to create a reusable Stripe-hosted payment URL.

## Example

```ts automations/stripe-create-payment-link.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { stripe } from "automate.ax/stripe"
export default automation("Create Payment Link", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Create Payment Link" })
  stripe.createPaymentLink({
    lineItems: [{ price: "price_123", quantity: 1 }],
    afterCompletion: {
      type: "redirect",
      redirect: { url: "https://example.com/thanks" },
    },
  })
})
```

## Inputs

Provide line items and any collection, checkout, or completion settings. `idempotencyKey` is optional.

Inputs use camel case and accept compatible signals. Automate.ax converts provider fields to Stripe's wire format. Metadata keys remain unchanged.

## Output

Returns the created Stripe Payment Link, including its URL. Output fields use camel case. Nested Stripe decimal fields such as `unitAmountDecimal` are lossless strings.
