# Create price

> Create a Stripe price for a product.

Use `stripe.createPrice` to create a Stripe price for a product.

## Example

```ts automations/stripe-create-price.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { stripe } from "automate.ax/stripe"
export default automation("Create price", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Create price" })
  stripe.createPrice({
    currency: "usd",
    product: "prod_123",
    unitAmount: 2500,
    recurring: { interval: "month" },
  })
})
```

## Inputs

Provide a currency, product or inline product data, and an amount or pricing scheme. Recurring settings create subscription prices. `idempotencyKey` is optional.

Inputs use camel case and accept compatible signals. Automate.ax converts provider fields to Stripe's wire format. Metadata keys remain unchanged.

## Output

Returns the created Stripe Price. Output fields use camel case. Stripe decimal fields such as `unitAmountDecimal` are lossless strings.
