# Delete invoice

> Permanently delete a draft Stripe invoice.

Use `stripe.deleteInvoice` to permanently delete a draft Stripe invoice.

## Example

import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { stripe } from "automate.ax/stripe"

export default automation("Delete invoice", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Delete invoice" })

  stripe.deleteInvoice({ invoiceId: "in_123" })
})
```

## Inputs

`invoiceId` is required, and the invoice must still be a draft. Deletion is permanent. `idempotencyKey` is optional.

Inputs use camel case and accept compatible signals. Automate.ax converts provider fields to Stripe's wire format. Metadata keys remain unchanged.

## Output

Returns a deleted Stripe Invoice confirmation. Output fields use camel case.
