# Get dispute

> Retrieve a Stripe dispute by ID.

Use `stripe.getDispute` to inspect evidence, deadlines, and status for a disputed charge.

## Inputs

`disputeId` is required. Use `expand` for supported relationships.

## Output

Returns the requested dispute.
