# Get invoice item

> Retrieve a Stripe invoice item by ID.

Use `stripe.getInvoiceItem` to inspect an item queued for an invoice or attached to a draft.

import { stripe } from "automate.ax/stripe"

```

## Inputs

`invoiceItemId` is required. Use `expand` for supported relationships.

## Output

Returns the requested invoice item. Stripe decimal fields such as `quantityDecimal` are lossless strings.
