# Send invoice

> Email a finalized manual-collection Stripe invoice to its customer.

Use `stripe.sendInvoice` to email a finalized manual-collection Stripe invoice to its customer.

## Example

```ts automations/stripe-send-invoice.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { stripe } from "automate.ax/stripe"

export default automation("Send invoice", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Send invoice" })

  stripe.sendInvoice({ invoiceId: "in_123" })
})
```

## Inputs

`invoiceId` is required. The invoice must use `send_invoice` collection and be finalized. `idempotencyKey` is optional.

Inputs use camel case and accept compatible signals. Automate.ax converts provider fields to Stripe's wire format. Metadata keys remain unchanged.

## Output

Returns the sent Stripe Invoice. Output fields use camel case. Nested Stripe decimal fields such as `quantityDecimal` are lossless strings.
