# Create workspace

> Creates a Tally workspace.

`tally.createWorkspace` creates a Tally workspace.

## Example

```ts automations/tally-create-workspace.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onHttpRequest } from "automate.ax"
import { tally } from "automate.ax/tally"

export default automation("Create workspace", () => {
  onHttpRequest({ scope: "automation" })

  tally.createWorkspace({
    name: "Customer research",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

A non-empty workspace `name` is required.

Pass `account` to select a named Tally connection.

## Output

Returns the created workspace.

Tally requires a Pro subscription to create workspaces. This action is not retried after an uncertain response.
