# Delete workspace

> Moves a Tally workspace and all its forms to the trash.

`tally.deleteWorkspace` moves a Tally workspace and all its forms to the trash.

## Example

```ts automations/tally-delete-workspace.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onHttpRequest } from "automate.ax"
import { tally } from "automate.ax/tally"

export default automation("Delete workspace", () => {
  onHttpRequest({ scope: "automation" })

  tally.deleteWorkspace({
    workspaceId: "workspace-id",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

`workspaceId` is required.

Pass `account` to select a named Tally connection.

## Output

Returns an empty object after Tally moves the workspace and forms to the trash.

This action affects every form in the workspace and is not retried after an uncertain response.
