# Remove organization user

> Removes a user from a Tally organization.

`tally.removeOrganizationUser` removes a user from a Tally organization.

## Example

```ts automations/tally-remove-organization-user.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onHttpRequest } from "automate.ax"
import { tally } from "automate.ax/tally"

export default automation("Remove organization user", () => {
  onHttpRequest({ scope: "automation" })

  tally.removeOrganizationUser({
    organizationId: "org-id",
    userId: "user-id",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

`organizationId` and `userId` are required.

Pass `account` to select a named Tally connection.

## Output

Returns an empty object after Tally removes the user.

Only the organization creator can remove other users. This action changes membership and is not retried after an uncertain response.
