# Update form

> Updates a Tally form's name, status, blocks, or settings.

`tally.updateForm` updates a Tally form's name, status, blocks, or settings.

## Example

```ts automations/tally-update-form.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onHttpRequest } from "automate.ax"
import { tally } from "automate.ax/tally"

export default automation("Update form", () => {
  onHttpRequest({ scope: "automation" })

  tally.updateForm({
    formId: "form-id",
    name: "Customer feedback",
    status: "PUBLISHED",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

`formId` is required. Pass any of `name`, `status`, `blocks`, or `settings` to change those fields.

Pass `account` to select a named Tally connection.

## Output

Returns the updated form.
