# Update workspace

> Renames one Tally workspace.

`tally.updateWorkspace` renames one Tally workspace.

## Example

```ts automations/tally-update-workspace.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onHttpRequest } from "automate.ax"
import { tally } from "automate.ax/tally"

export default automation("Update workspace", () => {
  onHttpRequest({ scope: "automation" })

  tally.updateWorkspace({
    workspaceId: "workspace-id",
    name: "Research operations",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

`workspaceId` and a non-empty `name` are required.

Pass `account` to select a named Tally connection.

## Output

Returns an empty object after Tally renames the workspace.
