# Get chat member

> Returns one chat member.

`teams.getChatMember` returns one chat member.

## Example

```ts automations/teams-get-chat-member.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { teams } from "automate.ax/teams"

export default automation("Get chat member", () => {
  teams.getChatMember({ chatId: "chat-id", memberId: "member-id" })
})
```

## Inputs

Pass `{ chatId: "chat-id", memberId: "member-id" }`. The optional second argument `{ account }` selects a Microsoft binding.

## Output

Returns one chat member. Microsoft Graph IDs are opaque and should be passed through unchanged.
