# Get team

> Returns one joined Microsoft Team.

`teams.getTeam` returns one joined Microsoft Team.

## Example

```ts automations/teams-get-team.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { teams } from "automate.ax/teams"

export default automation("Get team", () => {
  teams.getTeam({ team: "Engineering" })
})
```

## Inputs

Pass `{ team: "Engineering" }`. The optional second argument `{ account }` selects a Microsoft binding.

## Output

Returns one joined Microsoft Team. Microsoft Graph IDs are opaque and should be passed through unchanged.
