# List channel message hosted content

> Returns hosted-content metadata for a channel message.

`teams.listChannelMessageHostedContent` returns hosted-content metadata for a channel message.

## Example

```ts automations/teams-list-channel-message-hosted-content.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { teams } from "automate.ax/teams"

export default automation("List channel message hosted content", () => {
  teams.listChannelMessageHostedContent({
    team: "Engineering",
    channel: "General",
    messageId: "message-id",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

Pass `{ team: "Engineering", channel: "General", messageId: "message-id" }`. The optional second argument `{ account }` selects a Microsoft binding.

## Output

Returns `contentId` and optional `contentType` metadata. Pass the opaque `contentId` to `teams.getChannelMessageHostedContent` to download the bytes.
