# Delete board

> Permanently delete a Trello board.

`deleteBoard` permanently deletes a board. Archive with [Update board](/reference/integrations/trello/actions/update-board) when you may need it later.

`board` is a required ID, short link, or URL. Optional `account` defaults to the project binding. The action returns `Signal<{ boardId: string; deleted: true }>` and fails if the member cannot administer the board. Deletion cannot be undone.
