# Delete checklist

> Delete a Trello checklist and all its items.

`deleteChecklist` permanently removes a checklist and its nested items from its card.

`checklistId` is required; optional `account` defaults to the project binding. Returns `Signal<{ checklistId: string; deleted: true }>`.
