# Delete Custom Field

> Delete a Trello Custom Field and its card values.

`trello.deleteCustomField` permanently deletes a definition and every card value that uses it.

export default automation("Delete Trello Custom Field", () => {

```

Provide a stable `customFieldId`. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a Trello binding. Returns `Signal<{ customFieldId: string; deleted: true }>`.
