# On card deleted

> Run an automation after a Trello card is deleted.

`trello.onCardDeleted` matches Trello's `deleteCard` action.

export default automation("Watch deleted Trello cards", () => {
  trello.onCardDeleted({ board: "board-id" })

```

Provide `board` as an ID, short link, or URL. Optional static `account` defaults to the project binding.

Returns the [shared Trello card event shape](/reference/integrations/trello/triggers/on-card-created#trigger-data) with `actionType: "deleteCard"`. The payload describes the deleted card from the webhook; don't assume it remains retrievable afterward.
