# On card restored

> Run an automation after a Trello card is restored.

`trello.onCardRestored` matches an `updateCard` action whose `closed` state changes from `true` to `false`.

import { trello } from "automate.ax/trello"

export default automation("Watch restored Trello cards", () => {
  trello.onCardRestored({ board: "board-id" })
})
```

Provide `board` as an ID, short link, or URL. Optional static `account` defaults to the project binding.

Returns the [shared Trello card event shape](/reference/integrations/trello/triggers/on-card-created#trigger-data) with `actionType: "updateCard"` and `card.closed: false`. The action also matches `trello.onCardUpdated`.
