# On Vercel deployment succeeded

> Start an automation when a Vercel deployment succeeds.

`onVercelDeploymentSucceeded` emits after a Vercel deployment's build and checks succeed.

```ts automations/watch-successful-vercel-deployments.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { onVercelDeploymentSucceeded } from "automate.ax/vercel"
export default automation("Watch successful Vercel deployments", () => {
  const event = onVercelDeploymentSucceeded()
  event.transform(({ payload }) => ({
    deploymentId: payload.deployment.id,
    projectId: payload.project.id,
    target: payload.target,
  }))
})
```

Optional static `account` defaults to the project's Vercel OAuth binding.

## Trigger data

Returns the [deployment event shape](/reference/integrations/vercel/triggers/on-deployment-event), narrowed to `type: "deployment.succeeded"`.
