# On Vercel project environment variable deleted

> Start an automation when a Vercel project environment variable is deleted.

`onVercelProjectEnvironmentVariableDeleted` emits when a project environment variable is deleted.

Optional static `account` defaults to the project's Vercel OAuth binding.

## Trigger data

Returns the [environment-variable event shape](/reference/integrations/vercel/triggers/on-project-environment-variable-event), narrowed to `type: "project.env-variable.deleted"`. `payload.envVarId` can be `null` after deletion, and Vercel never includes the variable value.
