# Get collection item

> Retrieves one staged CMS item in a selected locale.

`webflow.getCollectionItem` retrieves one staged CMS item in a selected locale.

## Example

import { webflow } from "automate.ax/webflow"

## Inputs

Every input accepts a compatible signal. It requires the `cms:read` OAuth scope.

| `cmsLocaleId`  | `string` | No       | Optional CMS locale ID.    |
| `collectionId` | `string` | Yes      | Webflow CMS collection ID. |

## Output

Returns an object with the fields below. Automate.ax converts provider `Date` values to ISO 8601 strings.
